CARY J OVER 55

HISTORY

Cary Jespersen and I initially met back in the late 1980’s and then were reintroduced by our close friend in 2001. We had attended a Bodybuilding & Fitness show that year that I was scheduled to award trophies at the event on behalf of Euthenics Sports Nutrition. Cary came along as she wanted to observe the fitness competitors. After the show Cary thought she may be interested in at least sculpting her physique more, even though she was already pretty fit, but was not certain she would ever compete.

She had asked if I could help her, and I agreed as we began to work out 1-2 times a week to help her sculpt her body as we used mostly machines with very few free weights. It only took a couple of months and she started to already see results. I believe it was less than a year she was at a point where she was extremely happy with her physique.

We also discussed eating habits as she already was somewhat a healthy eater. However, I remember her biggest downfall was Coke’s as she could drink several in a day and had her favorite drive through where she purchased them. Several years later she did finally stop drinking Coke.

Cary and I continued to work out together 1 to 2 x a month for the next decade. In 2005 Cary introduced me to her dad (Ed) and wanted to know if I could provide him some training. I spent several weeks providing him a workout routine that would work best for him at over 55 years old, which of course involved mostly machines.

Here recently (17 years later) I was able to help Ed again by providing him with homemade videos of band workouts he can do from home.

In the near future the plan is to provide downloadable workout programs for both male and female and Cary has agreed to help with those instructional videos for others to achieve “Symmetrical Balance”.

ENDORSEMENT

As Tom mentioned above, we had met years ago in the late 1980’s but it wasn’t until 2001 that we met again, and I asked for his help in sculpting my body to be more symmetrically balanced. Tom was able to identify my bodies weaknesses and attributes and provided specific workouts to work the areas needed and workouts to maintain what I had already achieved.

We worked out 1-2 times a week on all body parts. The biggest thing that stands out is that Tom would place a great deal of emphasis into proper lifting techniques and ensuring proper posture and range of motion was achieved in every single set, whether it was free-weights or machines. It is something that has become a standard in my workouts to this day.

I had noticed measurable results in just a few months and at a year I was really pleased with the results regarding the symmetrical balance of my physique.

To this day I try to catch periodic workouts with Tom to make sure my lifting techniques stay honed and to continue to assess areas of concerns as the body ages and change.
