I had met Tom several years ago in 1989 through friends and the gym. Tom was a competitive bodybuilder, and we became workout partners for a couple of years. During that time Tom helped me identify the areas I needed to work to become more symmetrically balanced.

Tom was able to provide specific workouts to work the areas needed for improvement and additional workouts to maintain areas that I had already achieved symmetrical balance. We worked out together periodically in order to focus on all body parts.

Tom was a stickler for using proper lifting techniques and promoting proper posture in every lift and machine. Tom would also promote full range of motion, when necessary, whether it was free-weights or machines.

Shortly after training with Tom, I had noticed measurable results in just a few months, especially in my legs and at a year I was really pleased with the results regarding the symmetrical balance of my physique.

Tom would help by using photos and the gym mirrors to achieve the goals I had set.

Tom helped me get ready for the first and only fitness show I entered in 1991. This show was the first of its kind in the NPC and was designed to move away from female bodybuilders into a more aesthetic female physique. Tom helped choreograph my music and floor routine for the fitness competition.

With Tom’s help I was able to win 2nd Place at the: 1991 Miss Colorado Fitness Championship.
